Värmland County Administrative Board
The Värmland County Administrative Board works with regional development for a sustainable development throughout Värmland – economically, environmentally and socially. The board coordinates rural development efforts, provides information and disseminates knowledge within a wide range of areas. Furthermore, Värmland County Administrative Board issues rulings with regard to permits and supervises activities which have an impact on the environment. The board is also the managing authority of the rural development programme, which includes funding for broadband expansion.

Role in COM³
In COM³, Värmland County Administrative Board cooperates with Torsby municipality and Compare foundation and supports these partners in implementing the regional pilot in Torsby. VCAB mobilizes stakeholders and disseminates results in the region and beyond. Värmland County Administrative Board makes sure that other municipalities and important stakeholder groups are specially targeted by the dissemination from the project.
Role in CORA
Torsby municipality and Värmland County Administrative Board works together in the extension of CORA. Our main activities will be to develop training materials for different digital public services in areas such as health services, government services and municipal services. Step one is to train the target group how they can participate in various digital educations meetings and seminars and to use digital community services (Senior Net), so that they in the next step will be able to go to different websites, etc. and participate themselves.
Objective: The target groups should be able to participate in digital education meetings and seminars and to use digital community services.
Target groups: Elderly, newcomers in Sweden, disabled.
