Role in COM³
Vejle municipality will pilot tools to support digital uptake by SMEs in traditional sectors with a focus on food, manufacturing and tourism sectors within the innovation framework of circular economy. Vejle will be engaged as a tech branded region in COM3, focusing on its strengths in green technology and digital service.
Role in CORA
Identifying local problems and developing a responsive training concept and materials (train the trainer and train the volunteer) is an important step for Vejle in CORA. As a pilot region, Vejle tests solutions on improving digital skills of citizens and SMEs in rural areas through the demo labs concept and training courses in Vejle Libraries’ digital learning centre – DIGIzonen. In this context, Labs cover a range of activities such as demonstration, inspiration, learning, workshops and maker spaces.
