COM³ partners at the Alexanderson Institute, Sweden, have created a short training solution for local and regional authorities, and business support organisations who want to organise business matchmaking events. In a new and appealing design, the e-learning course provides future organisers with valuable tips to organise sucessful events.

In an ever more digital world, SMEs in rural areas are faced with many uncertainties. They can feel quite isolated and are not always aware of digital solutions that could help them stay competitive. In this context, public authorities and business support organisations should act as innovation facilitators and enablers.

COM³ partners experienced that business matchmaking events are a meaningful tool to help SMEs network with each other. These events allow participants to meet and mingle in order to create the basis for future collaborations.

COM³ partners at the Alexanderson Institute created a practical guide meant for local and regional authorities who want to accompany their local businesses. In this short guidebook, staff and developers in municipalities, regions, and business support organisations, will be able to organise their own matchmaking events.

The course is freely available on the platform ruraldigital.eu.
