The COM³ project has launched a new e-learning course that provides inspiration and guidance to accompany rural businesses and help them thrive in the digital age.
Staff and developers in municipalities, regions, and business support organisations work hard to make their regions attractive places to live, work, and invest in. Local businesses – as providers of services and goods, as employers, or as clients – contribute to the quality of life in a region. In this context, local and regional public authorities have a key role to play when it comes to business support. Specifically, in rural areas, they can act as innovation facilitators and enablers, fostering a dynamic environment in which rural companies can make the most of digital opportunities, and contribute to a higher quality of life.
To support these efforts, the COM³ project has launched a new e-learning course that provides inspiration and guidance to accompany rural businesses and help them thrive in the digital age. The course shares nine good practices to support rural businesses, building on the learning of the COM³ project. It covers topics such as design-thinking, data, cooperation with universities, and provides practical tips and examples that staff can apply in their own context.
