Smidstrup-Skærup school and the libraries in Vejle are collaborating to promote and inspire digital learning.

In order to create better conditions for learning activities and bring new technology into play – they agreed to buy a sparkling new lasercutter and arrange a train-the-trainer service and safety course. Several teachers, educators and library staff were involved – and helped each other install the machine.

After getting the machine started, they took part in the safety course and were allowed to test it. They managed to cut Christmas decorations in paper, create name tags in wood and engrave a Star Wars logo on a bread roll!

Everybody were excited about the new possibilities and looked forward to sharing their knowledge to others, both at school and in the local community.

A Merry Christmas to all!
